A chance meeting by two strangers.
One troubled - his mind heavy with thoughts and feelings he cannot unravel and understand.
The other - a Listener. And she allows herself to be taken on a journey into his troubled past...
Traveller is a 25-minute film that looks at one form of depression. It is the true story of a close friend who, from early teens and through into his twenties, has tried to cope with depression. The film originally began as a stage play - with a very different structure and approach. But the final film piece accompanied a workshop, where the participants discussed the story and experiences of the central character, whilst also sharing their own individual stories and experiences dealing with depression.
The contents menu on the left takes you through the creative process - from early ideas to music in the film.
